How to use the dressing
Thoroughly clean the wound and dry the wound area before applying the dressing. Then remove HARTMANN ATRAUMAN from its packaging, maintaining the sterility of the product. If necessary, the dressing can be trimmed to fit the size of the wound. Once trimmed, remove one of the protective caps and place the dressing over the wound, then gently remove the second protective layer. To ensure adequate exudate drainage, it is recommended to fix a sterile absorbent dressing on top of the ATRAUMAN dressing.
When using the dressing on oozing wounds or wounds with a lot of exudate, the condition of the dressing should be checked regularly and replaced with a new dressing if necessary to avoid the dressing becoming too saturated with exudate.
