Microdacin is a water solution of a super-oxided solution with an antibacterial effect.Its application causes natural chemical processes to occur on the surface of the wound as a result of contact with the components that build the bacterial cell walls.
The process is analogous to chemical reactions occurring during fagocytosis.Then neutrophils (immunity cells) through enzymatic reactions use reactive forms of oxygen to destroy the bacteria.

Microdacyn 60 Wound Care Spray 250ml is an innovative electrolysed solution for the treatment of acute and chronic wounds. It is a medical device with a broad antimicrobial action that can be used in many different areas such as surgical wounds, ulcers or diabetic foot wounds. Thanks to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, Microdacyn 60 is an ideal aid for wound treatment in a safe and effective manner.
Product composition
Microdacyn 60 Wound Care contains electrolysed ingredients at low concentrations for effective action:
- 40 ppm (0.004%) sodium hypochlorite,
- 40 ppm (0.004%) hypochlorous acid,
- purified water.
Action
Microdacyn 60 Wound Care has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial efficacy including viruses, bacteria, spores and fungi. It is hypoallergenic and has an anti-inflammatory effect, making it safe for healthy cells and does not need to be rinsed out of deep wounds.
Thanks to its neutral pH, the product does not cause irritation or immunization of bacteria, which is an important advantage in the treatment of chronic wounds. In addition, Microdacyn 60 eliminates wound odour and is approved for use in NPWT negative pressure therapy.

Indications for use
Microdacyn 60 Wound Care Spray is indicated for rinsing and treating acute and chronic wounds such as:

Directions for use
- Saturate a gauze compress with Microdacyn 60 solution and place directly on the wound.
- Repeat the treatment 2 times a day for 15 minutes and at each dressing change.
- Microdacyn 60 can be used routinely instead of saline to irrigate traumatic, burn or heavily contaminated wounds.
- Saturating a dried dressing with the product makes it easier to remove.
Contraindications and precautions
- The stability and sterility of the unused solution is guaranteed for up to 60 days after opening.
- No additional rinsing of the wound is necessary before application.
- The preparation does not need to be rinsed from the wound.
